Ghost Crawler, love him or hate him, he’s the cranky crab that faces everyone on the forums. Have you been to the official forums? If not, be prepared, its a dark, dangerous and scary place. You may also want some rubber boots for trudging through the sewer that is the player complaints and tears. Seriously its crazy.
I tend to stay away from there. I used to actually be a regular poster over on the Customer Support forums, which is sort of misleadingly named. I quit posting, because I found that people who post tend to fall into two categories. Sane and Insane. I wanted to retain my sanity, so I stepped away.
But yet, Greg Street (Ghost Crawler) doesn’t have this option. Well, to be fair, he likely does have the option to walk away and let a represenative handle it for him, but he doesn’t. He wades through the insanity to find the good posts and respond to them. We all know and remember “Ghostcrawler promised me a Pony! (Moose)”. He also apparently hates all the classes in the game or loves all the other classes in the game, depending on which class is being represented by the poster.

Yet, for the most part, he maintains a pretty good sense of humor about everything. So, seriously guys, give the man his Gin. And for all the sane posters out there, thanks for giving good representation of the player-base. I couldn’t last without wanting to stab people with forks anymore.

I always found the idea of developers “hating” a particular class amusing. Because it makes so much sense that they would take something they created, and attempt to make that experience as miserable as possible out of pure spite for their creation.
Ah… forums. Props to Ghostcrawler for keeping calm and composed about nearly everything.
Yes, very much so. I would never want to be in his position at all. But don’t get me wrong, sometimes I do grumble about him under my breath when I feel like druids need moar love
