Diablo 3, a bit later

So, now that I’ve been playing a bit, I have Eluna, whom I play with Kurby as a pair (what no monk? Haha!)

Eluna the Demon Hunter
Imagine the banner in all green like the armor..

And I also have Mae the Witch Doctor, which I play alone among other alts too (I try not to go past the story line where kurby and I are together)

Shall we just say here and now that I’m growing quickly addicted to this game.  I die a lot on my Hunter though, mostly because I’m still getting used to the click to move mechanics….so much so that Little Lula my bank alt in wow, well, lets just say it took me a few minutes to figure out why she couldn’t move.  Eluna and Kurby are level 28 in Act 3 and Mae is level 18 in Act 2.  I enjoy most of the aspects of the game, we even hopped over into someone else’s game to help them finish Act 2!   And if you couldn’t tell, I really really love that you can dye your armor to all match.  I dyed it green this morning after I replaced a few items.  Last night it was all white!

Are you guys enjoying Diablo 3?  Have you tried it?

Diablo 3, First Impressions

I have never played Diablo before….well…that isn’t true, I bought the battle chest a few years back and installed it, logged in and was completely at a lost as to what to do.  It wasn’t like World of Warcraft at all.  World of Warcraft was the only computer game I’d ever played outside of card games!  Today I made a Monk…I got D3 as part of my WoW annual pass, so I figure I may as well give it a try.  I’ve completed 4 quests and teleported back to the town.  So far….I kind of like it.

I obviously made a Monk because they were the only ones that had “heal” in their description that I could find.  As someone who typically heals and will be playing this with my spouse who likes to rush in and smash things it seems suiting.  I will try the other classes eventually as well, but I figured sticking with something familiar was best.

This is my Monk:

Here I am in all my Glory!

I intend to share some of my thoughts and experiences as I go along, when I remember :-)
